LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 12, 2024) — The University of Kentucky Staff Senate is excited to announce that T-shirt orders are now open for UK Employee Appreciation Day 2024. This year, the Staff Senate is proud to offer T-shirts in sizes ranging from XS to 6XL to ensure that all employees can participate in this celebration of appreciation.

As a token of gratitude for UK employees' hard work and dedication, all are invited to order a free T-shirt featuring a design chosen from submissions by fellow employees. The chosen design will reflect the collective spirit and appreciation of employees within the University of Kentucky community.

To ensure a seamless distribution process, T-shirts will be sorted and picked up by departments. However, it is important to note that each employee who wishes to receive a t-shirt must submit the order form themselves. This ensures accurate sizing and participation from all interested employees.

"We are thrilled to offer these specially designed t-shirts as a symbol of our appreciation for the incredible contributions of our staff members," said Mandi Banahan, Staff Senate special events committee chair. "Employee Appreciation Day is a time for us to come together and recognize the hard work and dedication of our colleagues. We encourage all employees to order their t-shirts and join us in celebrating this special day."

Employees can submit their t-shirt orders by 5 p.m. Friday, March 22, using the online form available at https://uky.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4SodStu2q0gnfX8.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
