LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 2, 2019) Have a passion for your field, a commitment to lifelong learning education and a willingness to share your knowledge with others? The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) in the University of Kentucky's Office of Lifelong Learning needs you.

OLLI is currently accepting course proposals for its Fall 2019 courses. The deadline to submit course proposals is Wednesday, May 15. Interested instructors can submit an online course proposal form here.

Volunteer instructors include UK faculty and staff, UK students and community members. Although formal training is not required for most OLLI instructors, they must demonstrate a level of expertise that can be gained through advocation, education or occupation in their desired subject.

Most OLLI courses meet once a week for two hours. Fall 2019 courses run four to 10 weeks between Sept. 4-Dec. 6.

Not sure how to put a proposal together? For these individuals, OLLI is hosting "A Course is Born," which will cover how to build a course proposal. Registration for this session will open online Wednesday, May 15, at https://uky.augusoft.net.

For more information or to discuss course proposals, please contact Joey Conrad at 859-257-2667 or joseph.conrad@uky.edu
