Spring Break Transit and Parking Changes
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 9, 2017) — During spring break, demand for campus transportation and student transportation is greatly reduced. As a result, Parking and Transportation Services reduces campus bus service and eases restrictions on most student parking lots.
The Orange Route (UK HealthCare Route) and the Pink Route (Kentucky Clinic Route) will continue to run their normal schedule.
The campus Blue, White and Green Routes will operate on their modified break schedule of 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., March 13-17. All three routes will return to their normal hours on Monday, March 20.
The Yellow Night Route will not operate March 13-17; regular service will resume March 20.
The On-Demand Night Bus will not operate March 12-18. Service will resume March 19.
Kentucky Wildcab will not operate on March 10-11 or March 16-18. Normal Kentucky Wildcab hours will resume on Thursday, March 23.
Most student lots will require any valid permit, which may include employee permits, with the following exceptions that will remain on control for the specific permit for the lot: R6, R8, R16, R17 and R18. All employee (E) lots will remain on control as normal. All lots will resume normal control on Monday, March 20.
