Students Organize Thanksgivin' Fixin' Food Drive
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 2, 2017) — The University of Kentucky's STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) and TEAM WILDCAT, in cooperation with God’s Pantry, are teaming up for a Thanksgiving food drive. The groups need the UK and Lexington communities' help in putting together and donating food boxes.
The students are helping provide a meal for those less fortunate in the Lexington community by preparing a Thanksgivin’ Fixin’ box, with the following items:
- one box of stuffing mix;
- one box of mashed potatoes;
- one box of macaroni and cheese;
- one can of green beans;
- one can of corn; and
- one can of cranberry sauce.
All boxes must be delivered to 400 Rose St., King Alumni House, Lexington, before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21.
