‘UK at the Half’: UK grad is a lifelong learner

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 18, 2025) — Ellen London has spent a lifetime traveling the world as an educator with the Peace Corps and creating wearable art as a fashion designer who has shown collections at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. A lifelong learner, she already had a bachelor’s and master’s degree under her belt when she moved to Lexington. But she’s also has spent the past two years working on a second master’s degree in counseling from the UK College of Education.
In this “UK at the Half,” London discusses why she chose to go back to school again and how UK’s Donovan Scholarship helped her achieve that goal.
“UK at the Half” airs during halftime of each UK football and basketball game broadcast on radio and is hosted by UK Public Relations and Strategic Communications and Marketing and Brand Strategy. To hear the “UK at the Half” interview, click on the play button above.
