UK Social Work, Family and Community Medicine Host Integrated Behavioral Health Conference
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 3, 2017) — The University of Kentucky College of Social Work in collaboration with UK HealthCare's Department of Family and Community Medicine will host the third conference on integrated behavioral health in primary care Aug. 17–18, 2017, at the Doubletree Hotel on Richmond Road in Lexington. The day and a half conference will be held from 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Aug. 17, and 9 a.m.–noon, Aug. 18.
The conference's featured topic is "Trauma and Substance Misuse: Responding within Integrated Behavioral Health and Military Behavioral Health." Plenary speakers for the conference are William Elder and Karen A. Lawrence, and the event includes a breakout panel discussion. The annual conference will award nine continuing education units (CEUs).
Attendees can register online for $120 through Aug. 10, or $150 the week of the conference and at the door.
