Coffee House Series Returns to Campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2012) — What could be better on a cold winter night than a warm drink and an acoustic performance? Andrea Davidson returns with the Coffee House Series at 7 p.m. Wed. Dec. 5 in Starbucks at Commons. Free tall handcrafted Starbucks beverages will be given to students who arrive early.

Kentucky native Andrea Davidson creates to inspire through her songs and live performances. Davidson doesn’t write to fit a genre but rather an expression or moment. Her soulful, bluesy vibe is honest, pure and differ from many other artists.

“We’re excited to bring this series back to campus,” said Derek Operle SAB director of concerts. “It’s good to have a local artist of Andrea’s caliber return.”

The Coffee House Series is an acoustic and intimate performance featuring regional artists. Past artists include Andrea Davidson, Andrew Harlan and Jessica Adkins.
