Gatton MBA Programs' Open House on Jan. 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 23, 2012) − If you are one of those people who has been thinking about pursuing an MBA degree, yet want to get more information and be able to ask questions in person, the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics has a wonderful opportunity coming up for you.

This Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Boone Center (located at the corner of Rose Street and Columbia Avenue) on UK's campus in Lexington, the Gatton College is offering a 90-minute Winter Informational Session on both its full-time, one-year program and the evening program.  Faculty members, adminstrators and current MBA students will be on hand from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to visit with prospective students and provide information on curriculum, admissions, financial aid and more.

Harvie Wilkinson, director of MBA programs in the Gatton College, said, "We want people who are presently working full time and want to improve their skill set or students who are about to graduate and want to improve their marketability in this competitive job market.  This is an opportunity to visit with us and see up close just what outstanding opportunities we are offering.  This will be an open, informal session in a relaxed atmosphere."

The next class of students for Gatton's immersive, one-year program will begin classes in June.  The evening program, which starts in August of each year, offers several options to accommodate the schedules of persons already in the work force.

If you are interested in attending the Jan. 25 information session, please RSVP via email to ukmba@uky.edu prior to the close of business on Monday, Jan. 23.  Walk ins are welcome, as well.  Additional information on Gatton's MBA programs is available at www.gatton.uky.edu.
