A Night To Remember with the People You Won’t Forget

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 16, 2016)  Join Student Activities Board (SAB) and Underground Perspective, along with the Martin Luther King Center and the Office of LGBTQ* Resources, for a night of dancing, mingling and fun at the SAB Underground Formal from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in the Commonwealth Stadium Mezzanine Level.

This event is an opportunity for many students from different backgrounds to come together and experience one special night of fun, games and dancing. The SAB Underground Formal will have music from different cultures and allow students to express their culture through dance, fashion and music.

“I’m so excited to be a part of this unique campus experience,” said Zoe Pittman, SAB director of Traditions. “With new friends, new connections and a desire to connect those from different backgrounds, the SAB Underground Formal can be a large stepping stool to a more united campus.”

SAB brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
