Omicron Delta Kappa to Host Annual Transformational Leadership Seminar

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2016)  Omicron Delta Kappa will host their annual Transformational Leadership Seminar 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 15. Dr. James W. Holsinger, Wethington Endowed Chair in the Health Sciences and professor of preventative medicine and health management and policy, will be the guest speaker. The event will take place in the Cat's Den, located in the basement of Blazer Hall.

This year's theme is "Your Network is Your Net Worth." It will feature a Q&A session with audience engagement and free food! Also, students are encouraged to ask their professors about extra credit opportunities for attending.

Omicron Delta Kappa is comprised of students, faculty and community leaders. They present the seminar annually to serve as a way for students, faculty, staff and the community to join together to discuss and learn about pertinent topics which are related to leadership. 

Omicron Delta Kappa is a 100-year old national leadership honor society that has initiated more than 300,000 members since its founding. The society recognizes not only academic achievement but also campus leadership across the five phases of campus life: scholarship; athletics; campus or community service; journalism, speech and the mass media; and creative and performing arts.
