There’s Nothing Like A Movie Night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 14, 2016) — Before midterms begin, come enjoy a movie at Greek Park with Student Activities Board (SAB) and University of Kentucky National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) today to watch the movie "Stomp The Yard." Before the all-nighters start in William T. Young Library, kick back and enjoy a movie with a side of popcorn and good conversation. Show time is 7 p.m.

"Stomp The Yard" is a movie about a young man, played by actor Columbus Short, who is going through the trials and tribulations of life. He finds his way through college and his love life through a fraternity. After the movie ends there will be a discussion about the film and how it pertains to life at UK.

“I am so excited to be partnering with NPHC for the movie night that we are calling Greek Park Pictures," said Libby Langlois, director of Pop Culture. “I think it will be a great way for students to interact with each other and others that they may not have had the opportunity to meet in their regular day-to-day. Plus, Greek Park is the perfect place to come out and watch a movie and have some popcorn! We can't wait to see everyone there!”

In the case of inclement weather this event will be moved to Memorial Hall.
