"Tuesdays at Noon" Continues With UK School of Music Performers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 18, 2013) - The University of Kentucky School of Music will present the next series of "Tuesdays at Noon" performances beginning this week in the UK Chandler Hospital's Pavilion A auditorium.

This week's performance will feature an ensemble of viola students led by their professor, Deborah Lander. The group includes seniors Leigh Dixon and Seonkyu Kim; sophomores Sarah Grindle, Alison Ward and Logan Garrity; and freshmen Caleb Georges and Michael Bale.

The group will perform works by Groh, Mendelssohn, Weinzierl and Offenbach.

The performance begins at noon. The "Tuesdays at Noon" series is presented by the UK Arts in Healing program.

School of Music performers for "Tuesdays at Noon" events on March 26, April 2, April 9 and April 16 will be announced later.
