UK Venture Studio Lunch and Learn Series Finale is Nov. 17

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2016) The Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship, part of the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics, will wrap up the year with one final Lunch and Learn program. This series has been a big success, with the first two sessions selling out. To attend the final session, advanced registration is required. No fees are associated, and the event is open to the public as well as university students, staff and faculty members.

The third Lunch and Learn will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in the UK College of Law building, courtroom 102. The topic is "How to Write a Business Plan" and the guest speaker is Alex Genadinik. Genadinik will be part of Lexington Global Entrepreneurship Week here at UK in November. For this Lunch and Learn event, he will discuss the key elements of business plan writing and how to create a solid package for your startup. Genadinik’s books also are being utilized as a key resource in the Entrepreneur’s Bootcamp this fall.

"This will be a great opportunity for UK students, staff, faculty and Lexington community members to learn about business plan writing,” said Mariam Gorjian, commercialization specialist in the Von Allmen Center. “Our guest speaker, Alex Genadinik, is excited to share his knowledge to those writing business plans for the first time. His book, 'How to Write a Business Plan: Business Planning Made Simple,' is a terrific guide.”

Genadink also will be appearing at the Open Coffee event on Friday, Nov. 18, to talk about his second book, "Mobile App Marketing and Monetization."

Gorjian added, “Everyone is in for a great experience."
