Kentucky Spinal Cord and Head Injury Research Trust Symposium to be Held in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 2, 2012) — The 18th Annual Kentucky Spinal Cord and Head Injury Research Trust (KSCHIRT) Symposium will be held May 11, 2012, in Lexington. This symposium gathers together top researchers focused on spinal cord and brain injury. It is held in alternate years in Lexington and Louisville. This year's symposium will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1801 Newtown Pike, Lexington.
This event will feature faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate student speakers from the University of Kentucky Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center (SCoBIRC). In addition, renowned researchers from around the state and beyond will present current research findings in the field.
The 2012 Symposium theme is "Adaptive and Maladaptive Plasticity after Neurotrauma." All abstracts to present posters must be received no later than March 23.
