UK Women's Forum to Host Virtual Event
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 4, 2020) — Do you want to learn how to have healthy, productive disagreements with your colleagues, friends and loved ones? Please join Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers, hosts of "Pantsuit Politics" and "The Nuanced Life" podcasts, for a virtual discussion about their book, "I Think You’re Wrong (But I’m Listening)." This event is sponsored by the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum. The virtual event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020. The University of Kentucky Women’s Forum, Gaines Center for the Humanities and Lewis Honors College are co-sponsoring an evening keynote, "Pantsuit Politics Keynote: The Value of Disagreement," with Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers. In this virtual keynote, the speakers will discuss how healthy disagreement is valuable in any organization and provide practical ways to draw out, discuss and work through disagreement. You are invited to join the keynote via Zoom from 7 to 8 pm. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020. All are welcome to join, and no registration is required.
