Give to a Child through UK’s Circle of Love
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 9, 2010) — The weather outside isn’t frightful, but giving back is so delightful on University of Kentucky’s campus this month as the approaching holiday season also ushers in the 24th annual Circle of Love program.
Through Circle of Love, UK students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to make hundreds of holiday wishes come true through buying gifts from a wish list made by a child in need from Fayette and surrounding county elementary schools.
Names of children, along with their wish lists, are available for selection now. List will be available from 2 until 4 p.m. today at the Starbucks in the Student Center and tomorrow, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Student Center’s Great Hall. Gifts should be returned on Dec. 6 or Dec. 7 to 206 Student Center.
Name distribution for the UK Medical Center will be from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Nov. 22-24, 29 and Dec. 1-3, in front of the Chandler Gift Shop and at Kentucky Clinic Hall of Fame. Gift drop off is on Dec. 6 and 7 in the north lobby of Chandler Hospital.
The Circle of Love program is organized by the Center for Community Outreach (CCO).
