UK celebrates 26 years of Halloween in the Halls
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 24, 2023) — Halloween in the Halls is making its 26th annual appearance at the University of Kentucky. Residence hall lobbies will open their doors to children and grandchildren of UK faculty, staff and students for trick-or-treating this Halloween season. Festivities will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, rain or shine! The event is open to kids 12 and under with adult supervision. Costumes are encouraged!
Trick-or-treating will take place on North and Central/South Campus dorms. The residence halls participating include Boyd and Holmes Hall on North Campus and the University Flats, Smith, Haggin, Donovan, Lewis, Ball, Chellgren, Pigman and Woodland Glen 4 on Central and South campus. Trick-or-treaters can look for welcome signs on the front doors of participating dorms.
For visiting Central and South Campus halls, employees with a valid “E” parking pass are encouraged to park in the Sports Center lot behind Ingels Hall. For visiting North Campus halls, employees with a valid “E” parking pass are encouraged to park in the lot behind Memorial Coliseum.
