LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 4, 2010) − The University of Kentucky Department of Art invites the public to see a new installation, "Off the Wall in Utter Pandemonium as We Tape on It!," on exhibit through Friday. This exhibit showcases the product of three and a half weeks work in a collaboration with visiting installation artists Cameron Fuller and Sarah Paulsen and art students studying printmaking, fiber arts, painting and drawing at UK. The free public exhibit, on display for three days, can be seen through 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Barnhart Gallery, located in Reynolds Building #1 at 349 Scott St.

"Off the Wall in Utter Pandemonium as We Tape on It!" is a large scale multimedia installation with elaborate drawings, colorful painted collaged spaces, moving animation, and masked costumed mysteries.

Cameron Fuller began his artistic career in printmaking, at Washington University. He creates large, transient installation pieces. Commenting on his artwork, the artist told the Riverfront Times in a 2009 article, "The conversation I want to have is about what art is and what art can do. I'm not a horribly social person, and art is a way to start conversation. I'm interested in where we are heading as a society, but I'm also interested in creating something lighthearted, something fun, something that reminds people to use their imagination."

Fuller often collaborates with his girlfriend, artist Sarah Paulsen, whose artwork is known for surreal animations with delicate detail and optic depth.
