Celebrating success: The best of UK’s December Commencement ceremonies
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 23, 2024) — On Friday, the University of Kentucky celebrated a milestone moment as more than 1,200 graduates crossed the Commencement stage, marking the culmination of their academic journeys and the start of new beginnings.
Overall, 1,975 December degree candidates were conferred by the UK Board of Trustees. This includes 1,218 undergraduate, 752 graduate and five professional degree candidates for December 2024*.
In addition to UK President Eli Capilouto, remarks were delivered by graduates Esther Ndashaala and Isabella Nkemeh. Read more here.
