Behind the Blue: UK's Dr. Derek Forster on Dealing with Zika Virus
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 9, 2016) — Amid growing concerns about the Zika virus, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently issued a travel advisory for the countries hit hardest by the virus, as well as new guidelines for clinicians who may be treating women who have contracted the virus.
As Zika continues to spread through South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean, many Americans and growing concerned about the potential impact in the U.S.
