Tailgate Party Planned in South Carolina

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 1, 2017) — Kentucky football fans heading to the University of South Carolina game on Saturday, Sept. 16, can take advantage of a chance to tailgate with fellow University of Kentucky alumni and friends before the Wildcats take on the Gamecocks at Williams-Brice Stadium. The UK Alumni Association will host a pregame tailgate party from 5-7 p.m., at Seawell’s, 1125 Rosewood Dr. in Columbia, South Carolina.

The tailgate buffet will feature a full barbecue menu and special appearances by the UK Wildcat Marching Band and UK Cheerleaders. A cash bar will also be available. UK Alumni Association members will receive a special gift and all participants will be eligible for prizes and giveaways during the event.  

The cost is $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers, and $10 for students and includes admission to the event and pregame meal. Admission is free for children ages 10 and under.  A limited number of walk-ups will be taken at the event, but only while food supplies last. Reserve your spot now at www.ukalumni.net/sctailgate17.
