WUKY’s 5th Annual Vintage Vinyl Sale:  Bigger and Better

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2018) — WUKY, the University of Kentucky's NPR station, is hosting its fifth annual Vintage Vinyl Sale.  The Vintage Vinyl Sale has become one of WUKY’s most anticipated events and takes its participants back in time where music was more than popping in some earbuds and jamming to your favorite tunes, it was an event where you gathered around the record player and experienced the raw talent of an artist.

The Vintage Vinyl Sale kicks off Wednesday, April 25, at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Southland Drive in Lexington with a preview party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Tickets will be available at the door for $20. The public portion of the sale is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, April 26-28.

In recent years, vinyl has surged back into the mainstream with many current artists producing their latest projects on vinyl rather than digitally.  WUKY’s Vintage Vinyl sale is an opportunity to experience the magic of vinyl once again.
