Apply Now for UK Women's Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 30, 2019) Applications are now being accepted for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award (EEAA). This award provides a $250 reimbursement to eligible University of Kentucky employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees, the Employee Education Program (EEP). You must attend the University of Kentucky in order to be eligible.

The Summer EEAA application is now open. Applicants must be regular, full-time employees (0.75 FTE or greater) and have submitted an EEP form. Visit the UK Women's Forum website for more information regarding requirements and the selection process. The application closes May 14, 2019.

Tai Trauscht, a nurse with UK HealthCare, is a previous recipient of the EEAA.

"Attending college and working toward a bachelor’s degree is a challenging task for anyone. Add a full-time career and motherhood to the mix and you have one hectic schedule," Trauscht said. "The Women’s Forum Employee Education Assistance Award gives me the opportunity to continue that hectic schedule without the worry of additional financial stress."
