LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 19, 2018) Applications are now being accepted for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award. This award provides a $250 reimbursement to eligible UK employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees, the Employee Education Program (EEP).

The deadline for spring 2019 applications is Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019. Applicants must be regular, full-time employees (0.75 FTE or greater) and have submitted an EEP form. Please visit the Women's Forum website to find more information regarding requirements and the selection process.

“I am very grateful to receive this UK Women’s Forum Employee Assistance Award," said Jessica Frazier, a fall 2018 recipient and employee in the Office of Student Financial Aid. "I am now in my second semester with the Employee Education Program, and it has been a great adventure continuing my education. Tuition and fees are covered by the EEP benefit, but unfortunately the cost of books can add up quickly. This award has made it possible for me to afford all of my books both required and recommended, which allows me to deepen my understanding and succeed in my courses.”
