LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 19, 2016) — Applications are now being accepted for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees — the Employee Education Program (EEP) — by providing a $250 reimbursement to eligible UK employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework.

The deadline for spring 2017 applications is Monday, Jan. 16, 2017. Applicants must be regular, full-time employees (0.75 FTE or greater) and have submitted an EEP form. Please visit the UK Women's Forum website to find out more information regarding requirements and the selection process.

“I am so thankful to have been chosen to receive this generous award!” said a fall 2016 award recipient. “I am the mother of two amazing children and the wife of a wonderful husband, so our financial capacity is at maximum, the addition of tuition and books put us in a pretty tough spot. Opportunities such as this award can be the deciding factor for many on pursuing a degree.”

If you have any questions about the EEAA or need any additional information, please contact Tasha Cotter at tasha.cotter@uky.edu or visit our website at http://www.uky.edu/womensforum/eaa.html.
