Employees on EEP at UK Can Apply for Women's Forum Assistance Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2018) — Applications are now being accepted for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award for summer 2018. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees — the Employee Education Program (EEP) — by providing a $250 reimbursement to eligible UK employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework.

“Receiving the UK Women’s Forum Employee Education Assistance Award allows me to continue to expand my education, so that I can fulfill my passion for helping the community through the domain of public health,” said Marissa Schuh, project manager in the Precision Medicine Center and recipient of the spring 2018 award.

The deadline for summer 2018 applications is May 14. Applicants must be regular, full-time employees (0.75 FTE or greater) and have submitted an EEP form. Please visit the UK Women's Forum website to find out more information regarding requirements and the selection process or contact Mia Farrell at antomia.farrell@uky.edu.
