UK Employees' Children, Grandchildren Invited to Get Early Start on Trick-or-Treating at Halloween in the Halls

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 23, 2017) —  For the 20th year, select University of Kentucky residence halls will open their front lobbies to the children and grandchildren of UK faculty and staff for a head start on Halloween trick-or-treating. Halloween in the Halls will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

Trick-or-treating will take place in the following residence halls:

  • North Campus:
    • Jewell Hall
    • Blazer Hall
    • Boyd Hall
    • Holmes Hall
  • South Campus:
    • Baldwin Hall
    • Smith Hall
    • Chellgren Hall (formerly Woodland Glen I)
    • Woodland Glen II, III, IV and V

Trick-or-treaters on north campus should begin in Jewell Hall; trick-or-treaters on south campus should begin in Baldwin Hall.

All participating residence halls will have signs on their front doors welcoming trick-or-treaters to the building. Maps will be available at the starting point halls on both north and south campus.

On north campus, employees can park in the lot behind Memorial Coliseum. On south campus, employees may park in the Sports Center lot next to the baseball stadium. For additional parking options, please check the UK Transportation Services website.
