Women’s Basketball Game to Impact Campus Parking Dec. 21
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 20, 2017) — The Linden Walk Lot will be unavailable for University of Kentucky employee (E) parking Thursday, Dec. 21, as a result of the UK women’s basketball game vs. the University of California, Berkeley, at noon, in Memorial Coliseum.
Additionally, women’s basketball fans may choose to park in the South Limestone Garage, located on South Limestone next to Kennedy’s Wildcat Den. As a result, employees who park in the South Limestone Garage or other north campus lots may see a slight increase in visitor parking and should plan ahead, allowing additional time for their commute. However, the impact is expected to be minimal due to the game time and the decreased student population during the semester break.
Impacted employees may opt to park in other E lots in the north campus area, which include the High Street Lot, the King Alumni Lot, and the E/C9 parking areas located on Scott Street, including the Reynolds, Comers, Scott Street or Taylor/Dickey Lots.
