Disability Resource Center Accepting Nominations for Adelstein Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 5, 2018) — The University of Kentucky Disability Resource Center (DRC) is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Carol S. Adelstein Award. The Adelstein Award honors an outstanding UK student with a disability.

Nominees may be full- or part-time students and are expected to excel in one or more of the following areas: 

• academic achievement;
• leadership;
• extracurricular activities; and/or
• social and/or personal qualities.

Nominations should include the student’s name and a letter of support addressing the student's qualifications to be considered for the award.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Nominations should be emailed to dtbeach1@uky.edu or mailed to:
