LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 9, 2011)DanceBlue wants you to perfect your triple axel or channel your inner Apollo Ohno at DB’s annual ice skating night! DanceBlue is hosting an ice skating night from 9 – 11 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Lexington Ice Center and Sports Complex on Eureka Springs Drive in Lexington. The Ice Center is offering free skate rental with valid UK student ID. With the DanceBlue marathon only 10 days away, the annual ice skating night will get you in the DanceBlue spirit and let you be a kid for the night.

DanceBlue is UK’s 24 hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon that benefits the Golden Matrix Fund and the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Now in its sixth year, DanceBlue has raised more than $2 million for pediatric cancer research and children with cancer.
