Let Your Voice Be Heard With the Spring 2017 All-Student Survey

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2, 2017) — The All-Student Survey for the Student Activities Board (SAB) is now available. Students can voice their event preferences for the fall 2017 semester. Students who complete the All-Student Survey, sponsored by the SAB Market Research Committee, by Monday, March 6, will be entered to win prizes including an Amazon Echo, 50’ Vizio 1080P SmartTV, PowerBeats3 Headphones, Microsoft Surface 3 Tablet, and an Xbox One.

The All-Student Survey gives students an opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions regarding event ideas for all of SAB’s committees, including eight programming committees and four promotions committees. The survey guides SAB’s event programming; without research like the All-Student Survey results, events cannot be proposed to the board.

“The All-Student survey is a great way for the board to be more intentional and representative in our programming,” said Aiyana Adams, SAB director of Market Research. “By telling us what they want to see on campus, students are making the most accurate usage of their fee dollars and we can plan events that are reflective of campus desires.”

Students received the survey via email on Monday, Feb. 20. Students can also access the survey via the SAB website and social media. The survey will close 11:59 p.m., March 6. Only full-time students are eligible to win prizes, and winners will be drawn at random.

SAB brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
