Marketing Interns Wanted at The Study

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 8, 2011) — Do you love graphic design, social media or writing press releases? Do you want a way to put this passion to good use and build a portfolio? The Study at the University of Kentucky has the perfect position for you and is now hiring marketing interns for the spring semester.

Open to students, faculty and staff at UK, The Study provides a variety of services to promote Academic Enhancement across campus. With peer tutoring available in several courses, The Study offers students free, proactive academic assistance in a relaxed learning environment. It also offers several programs to the public, including ACT prep programs and placement testing for incoming undergraduate students.  

As a marketing intern at The Study, students receive hands on experience as they help market each of these many programs. From designing flyers to writing stories for the website and blog, the position offers many opportunities for students to create portfolio quality pieces. In addition, interns get a wide range of experience with social media, with The Study being on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Foursquare. Students may even receive academic credit for their internship and ISC majors should note that The Study is an approved JAT 399 site.
