Bollywood Showcased in an Evening of Fun
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2014) — The Student Activities Board Multicultural Affairs Committee presents Bollywood Night. Bollywood Night will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in the Student Center Grand Ballroom.
This event will give attendees an experience they have never had before! The Ishaara dance group will perform, along with providing history and importance of each facet showcased at the event. The Ishaara dance group is a fun, colorful and energetic group that will capture the attention of all who attend.
"Bollywood Night is a celebration of all things Bollywood like music, food and dance,” said Director Kristyn Cherry of the SAB Multicultural Affairs Committee. “The event will include a performance from the acclaimed Ishaara dance group, a henna station and a photo booth to record the fun!"
SAB brings more than 100 entertaining educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
