Catflix Presents S.C.A.R.E.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 29, 2012) — Get ready to jump out of your seats! Just in time for Halloween, Catflix is presenting a two-night scary movie marathon at 7 p.m. in the Worsham Theater in the University of Kentucky Student Center. This is a free event sponsored by Student Activities Board Cinema Committee.
Scary Cinema And Rich Eats or S.C.A.R.E includes free Halloween themed catering to get you in the haunting spirit. The first night, Sunday Oct. 28, featured the 2011 thriller "The Cabin in the Woods." The second movie, showing Monday, Oct. 29, will be the 2009 comedy/horror film "Zombieland" starring Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Abigal Breslin.
“We’re pretty excited to get the Halloween season started with this marathon,” said Brandon Payne, SAB Cinema Committee chair. “It’s the perfect start to kick off our other event with the creator of 'The Walking Dead,' Robert Kirkman.”
Catflix is a free movie series brought to UK’s campus through the SAB Cinema Committee.
SAB brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff, and the greater Lexington community.
