SAB Needs Students' Ideas for Programming
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2012) – The Student Activities Board needs student opinions to help SAB build its semester calendars, and one lucky student who completes the survey could win a free iPad 2! The annual all student survey, which was emailed Friday, Feb. 10, gives students a chance to let their opinions be heard and express what they would like to see on campus. Students are surveyed on everything from large events to homegrown series like the Karaoke Night and Cheap Seats.
SAB plans events a semester in advance after weeks of brainstorming and research; events are submitted and voted on for next semester. That’s why student opinions are so important. They are the core of SAB’s research that SAB uses to plan events for each semester. The survey is a vital resource in being good stewards of students’ money by reaching out to diverse groups of people on campus. It lets SAB know what artists, events and programs to explore so that the greatest number of students can have access to opportunities that interest them.
