SGA Hosts City Council Debate

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 10, 2012) — The University of Kentucky Student Government Association’s Wildcat Interest Group is proud to host a debate between the candidates for Lexington's 3rd Urban City Council District at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Student Center’s Worsham Theater on UK’s campus.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the debate between Councilwoman Diane Lawless and challenger Stephanie Spires.

The event will include questions prepared by the debate moderator and an opportunity for attendees to address the participants. There will be no admission fee for anyone attending the debate. The 3rd District is one of Lexington's 12 Urban City Council districts and includes the University of Kentucky campus and surrounding neighborhoods.
