Watch the Cats with the Wildest Fans!
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2011) – Watch the Cats slam the door on the ‘Dores this weekend at the Student Activities Board’s (SAB) Cat Watch party on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 12:30 p.m. in Worsham Theater as UK plays Vanderbilt! The Cat Watch party is free.
Sporting events of any kind are best watched in groups, especially Kentucky basketball! Grab your friends, deck yourself out in UK spirit gear and join other wild UK fans in Worsham Theater to watch the game on the big screen at the Cat Watch party! There will be free game day food, giveaways and a UK spirit contest for the wildcat dressed in the most blue and white. Tip-off is at 1 p.m.
Brad Elliot, director of the SAB Cinema Committee said, “Everyone's going to watch the game anyway, so it’s the perfect way to bring fans together for a weekend event! Students provide the spirit and SAB will provide the food.”
There will be one more Cat Watch party this semester on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Worsham Theater.
The Student Activities Board (SAB) brings more than 100 events to the University of Kentucky annually that enhance the college experience by providing students, other members of the campus and the Lexington community with entertaining, educational or enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends.
