Week Wraps With Homecoming Winners
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 25, 2010) – University of Kentucky Homecoming 2010, Wildcats Roaring Through the Decades, wrapped up with a weekend of fun, spirit and royalty. Many Wildcats went home as winners this week.

On Tuesday, JaMisha Robinson and John David Redmon III were named Mr. and Ms. Black UK 2010. Robinson is a junior from Louisville and is the daughter of Arthur and Charlotte Davis. She’s active in the CATalyst Coalition and is the special events coordinator of the Center for Community Outreach.
Friday evening, the annual National Pan-Hellenic Council step show took place and more than 1,500 people packed Memorial Coliseum to see the spectacular show. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., won the sorority division and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity won the fraternity division.
On Saturday, at halftime of the homecoming football game, the 2010 Homecoming king and queen were named. The crowns went to Kelsey Hayes, daughter Michael Hayes and Becky Hayes of Owensboro, Ky., and George Kington, son of son of Charlie and Katherine Kington of Madisonville, Ky.

Hayes is a senior political science major and was sponsored in the homecoming royalty candidacy by Chi Omega. Kington is a senior accounting major and was sponsored by Chi Omega. Other finalists for queen and king were:

Aleidra Allen, a senior community leadership and development, daughter of Dennis and Myra Allen from Lorain, Ohio, sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
Anna Hays, a senior integrated strategic communications major, daughter of Jim and Phyllis Hays from Tiffin, Ohio, sponsored by Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Andrea Patsalides, a senior integrated strategic communications major, daughter of Eugene and Terry Patsalides, from Owensboro, Ky., sponsored by Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Angela Wilkinson, a senior middle school math and social studies education major, daughter of Art and Anne Wilkinson of Cincinnati, Ohio, sponsored by Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Micah Fielden, a junior agricultural biotechnology major, son of Michael and Luanne Fielden from Lexington, sponsored by Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.
Roby Foree, a senior agricultural economics and public service leadership double major, son of Bobby and Jean Kaye Foree from Eminence, Ky., sponsored by Farmhouse fraternity.
Michael Haag, a senior human nutrition major, son of Susan and Mark Haag from Fayetteville, Ga., sponsored by Kappa Delta sorority.
Joe Quinn, a senior accounting and economics double major, son of Doug and Sharon Quinn, from Lexington, sponsored by Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Honors were also presented at halftime to winners of the Wildcat Cup, an award for student organizations who participate and compete in various Homecoming events. The winner in the non-Greek student organization category was Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT). In the Greek fraternity category, Sigma Chi took home the top honors and in the Greek sorority category the winner was Chi Omega.
