This Weekend in SAB: Aug. 25-27

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 25, 2017) — Student Activities Board (SAB) brings more than 60 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. Each week, they offer exciting programs and events designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community. Cane’s & Games

6-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, The Hub

Missing family game night with your family for the first time now that you’re in college? No worries! Join SAB in The Hub of William T. Young Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, to play some of your favorite board games and enjoy free Raising Cane’s chicken. Come out and enjoy game night with your new family here in Wildcat Country!

Broadway Trip

Busses leave UK at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, for Procter & Gamble Hall/Aronoff Center for the Arts, 650 Walnut St., Cincinnati, Ohio

Most people dream of seeing a Broadway musical, well SAB is here to make your dreams come true! Students can join SAB as the group takes a trip to Cincinnati to see the Broadway musical "Wicked." This is an amazing opportunity to see a Broadway classic without having to pay the classic price! Tickets will be sold for $25 for students and $50 for faculty/staff at the Student Involvement Ticket Center in Bowman’s Den beginning today (Friday), Aug. 25. Transportation and lunch will be provided.

Spectacular

6-10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, Gatton College of Business and Economics

Come out to the Spectacular and celebrate the start of another school year with SAB, the Student Center, PNC Bank, The Cats Den, UK Dining, UK Federal Credit Union, the Late Night Film Series, the Office of LGBTQ* Resources, the Martin Luther King Center, UK Police Department, UK Sports & Campus Marketing, University Sound & Lights and WRFL 88.1 FM. on Sunday, Aug. 27, at Gatton College of Business and Economics. Come learn about the variety of organizations on campus, enjoy free food, music, and did we mention the camel? This is an event you do not want to miss, so come out and join your fellow Wildcats at the biggest party on campus!
