UK Invests gives students another reason to cheer on the Cats
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 5, 2026) — University of Kentucky students can now earn money while supporting the Wildcats through UK Invests eligible events.
Launched in 2022, UK Invests helps students become healthier, wealthier and wiser by building a foundation of financial education and healthy habits. Through the program, students complete online financial education modules, open brokerage accounts and earn funds from the university by engaging in activities that promote success — from attending financial education sessions to building career skills, participating on campus and prioritizing physical and mental health.
Now included in these activities is attending eligible UK Athletics home games.
Students who attend eligible games can earn $10 in the Involvement Category of their UK Invests account for each event. To ensure compensation of the reward, students must check in at the UK Invests table after entering the event.
The check-in table will be available until halftime for soccer and basketball games, and through the end of the second set for volleyball games.
