Wildcats Lyles, Young Featured in NBA Utah Summer League
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Former Kentucky men’s basketball players Trey Lyles and James Young will play in the NBA’s Utah Summer League, which begins Monday and runs through Thursday.Lyles (2015) will play for the Utah Jazz while Young (2014) will suit up for the Boston Celtics for a third season. Former Wildcats Aaron Harrison (Charlotte Hornets), Dakari Johnson (Oklahoma City Thunder), Alex Poythress (Orlando Magic Blue) and Marquis Teague (Dallas Mavericks) are currently playing in the NBA Orlando Summer League, which began Saturday. All four were in action on the first day:
- Teague – 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals
- Johnson – 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks
- Harrison – 12 points, four rebounds, one assists, one steal, one block
- Poythress – four points, two rebounds, one assists, one steal, on block
