Landon Foster Named to SEC Community Service Team

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky senior punter Landon Foster has been selected to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Foster, a native of Franklin, Tenn., adds the SEC Community Service Team to his bevy of accolades in 2015. A four-year starting punter, Foster is a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy, given to the nation’s top community servant and is a member of the American Football Coaches Association All-State Good Works Team. Foster was also a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top scholar-athlete.

Foster finished his Kentucky career as the UK record holder in punts (256) and yards (10,693), sporting a 41.8 yard average with 69 punts downed inside the 20-yard line. He ranks fifth in SEC history in punting yards and fourth in punts.

Academically, Foster has a 3.97 cumulative GPA as a double major in marketing and finance.
