UK Athletics Shows Strong Support for DanceBlue

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 17, 2011) — Memorial Coliseum may have just entered its seventh decade of service to the University of Kentucky, but the building is young at heart.

This Friday and Saturday, Feb. 18 and 19, "The House That Rupp Built" will show its youthful spirit once again, as it hosts the sixth annual edition of DanceBlue, the UK student-run philanthropy which has raised more than $2 million to benefit pediatric cancer patients and their families. UK Athletics is solidly behind the cause and the department is demonstrating its support in many ways. (read more)
