Jolly, Joiner Homer as No. 7/9 Softball Defeats IPFW, 2-1
AUSTIN, Texas - Senior Emily Jolly and junior Griffin Joiner each blasted solo home runs, while freshmen pitchers Meagan Prince and Shannon Smith combined to throw six strong innings with sophomore pitcher Kelsey Nunley throwing a scoreless seventh inning for the save, as No. 7/9 Kentucky took down IPFW, 2-1, on Saturday in the Texas Classic at McCombs Field in Austin, Texas.
