LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 19, 2011) − The University of Kentucky College of Law will host its first of what is planned to become an annual golf tournament May 9, 2011. The scramble-format event, which begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., will take place at Champion Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville.
Proceeds from the tournament will support the academic initiatives of the College of Law, including scholarships, professorships and library resources.
Registration is $150 per golfer, or $500 for teams of four. The fee includes greens fee and cart, range balls, food and drinks and a commemorative gift. Prizes will be given to first, second and third-place teams.
