The silent auction will feature a variety of items, including baskets highlighting local businesses, as well as signed UK basketballs and footballs, bourbon, UK sporting event tickets, custom DanceBlue apparel and artwork created by children at the clinic.

“We are excited to make this our best silent auction yet and look forward to welcoming everyone to Harper Hall,” said Allie Fort, DanceBlue corporate chair. “DanceBlue invites all community and university members to participate, as every attendee makes a direct impact to the DanceBlue mission.”

All proceeds support DanceBlue’s fundraising efforts, including the Golden Matrix Fund, pediatric cancer research and resources for the children and families of the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic through food vouchers, gas cards, housing assistance, clinic staffing and other benefits.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and healthcare. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $1.02 billion research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
