Give Us a Cheer for UK Tickets
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 14, 2013) – There is nothing that members of Big Blue Nation enjoy more than cheering on their Wildcats. A new social media contest this week combines that love for the University of Kentucky with video via Instagram and Twitter. Winners of the competition will win tickets to Big Blue Madness, Homecoming or "see blue." swag.
For a chance to win UK tickets or swag, fans are asked to submit an Instagram video or a Vine video on Twitter showing them doing the "C-A-T-S, Cats, Cats, Cats" cheer. Each video submission should tag the UK Instagram or UK Twitter account @universityofky and use the hashtag #CATSCheer. All submissions must be made by noon Thursday, Oct. 17.
A drawing of all entries in the competition will be held Thursday for three prize packages. The prize packages for this competion are four tickets to Big Blue Madness on Oct. 18; two tickets to the UK Homecoming football game against Alabama State on Nov. 2; and four "see blue." large laptop covers. Prize winners will be announced on UK's Instagram and Twitter accounts Thursday afternoon.
