Join in the Madness of March With SAB's Final CatWatch Party

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2, 2015) — Student Activities Board’s Campus Life Committee invites students, faculty, staff and community members to the third and final CatWatch Party of the semester. Join SAB and the Big Blue Nation at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in Worsham Theater to cheer on our Kentucky Wildcats as they take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
The entire campus community can enjoy a night of cheering on the Wildcats even while they are away by watching a live stream of the game on the big screen. Prizes will be awarded to those who can correctly answer trivia questions about the UK basketball team. Free food will also be provided for attendees.
“Students should come to our last CatWatch Party of the semester to show their school pride and celebrate a team that is making history and leaving a legacy on this campus,” Abbey Tillman, director of Campus Life, said. “There is nothing better than supporting our athletics teams while they are away with your fellow peers.”
The basketball team has clinched the best season start in school history and continues to work toward the perfect 40-0 season. As March Madness is upon us, the Cats need fan support now more than ever as they prepare for the SEC and NCAA tournaments to finish out an already historic season.
SAB brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
