Lexington Open tournament is a guaranteed grand slam for everyone
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 10, 2026) — The Lexington Open, a USTA Pro Circuit tournament, returns for its 31st year of showcasing professional men’s and women’s tennis players from around the world. For two weeks, the rising stars of professional tennis go head-to-head on the courts of UK’s Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex for an exhilarating, high-stakes tournament. The players don’t just compete for glory, but for charity: The tournament benefits patients of Golisano Children’s at UK as well as athletes on the UK men’s and women’s tennis teams.

First held in 1995, the Lexington Open, formerly the Lexington Challenger, is a combination of the ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Women’s Tennis Tour and attracts emerging talent and established players vying for ranking points and prize money. The tournament provides a platform for rising stars to showcase their skills and compete against seasoned competitors. With its competitive atmosphere and enthusiastic local support, the Lexington Open is a key fixture in the tennis calendar, contributing to the growth and development of the sport.
