LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2017) — The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Kentucky will host the annual OLLI and the Arts Concert and Art Exhibit Saturday, April 29, at the Singletary Center for the Arts Concert Hall.
The OLLI and the Arts Concert and Art Exhibit will begin with a performance by the OLLI Chorus at 3 p.m. The chorus will perform a variety of musical numbers such as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Memory" (from "Cats"), "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and many more.
Following the concert, attendees can stop by the OLLI Art Exhibit, which will feature the artwork and photography of the OLLI Scholars. During the art exhibit there will also be a light reception with cookies, dessert bars and various beverages to enjoy.
The event is free and open to the public.
OLLI at UK is a dynamic community of lifelong learners age 50 and older who are continually exploring new ideas and exciting opportunities in learning.
